The Explorer’s Society

It started as a scholarly club in the Odiseo region of Castille. Over the years, it developed into a group of adventurer-scholars seeking out the secrets of the Syrneth ruins. Now, in much of Théah, because of the Inquisition, the Society has gone underground, hiding their exploits and discoveries from the Inquisition.
Though common belief holds that the mines of the Dracheneisen Mountains played out long ago, the Eisenfürsten hope the mountains have yet to give up more veins of ore or secrets, and so they have turned to the Explorer’s Society for aid. The country’s leadership wants dracheneisen back in circulation and pays any Explorer handsomely for taking on the dangers of the mountains to find them their answers.
An Explorer has plenty otherwise to occupy herself in Eisen, however. With the Ausgewogene Ort Syrneth ruins rising up under the swamps in Pösen and the potential Syrneth relics underneath Freiburg, an Explorer sees Eisen as a treasure trove of relic hunting. And in Freiberg, the Explorer's Society has been moved by "The Song of Eisen", and has sponsored a group of Monster Hunters to help rid the city and beyond of the Horrors.
