Knightly Order of the Rose & Cross

The Rose & Cross is a “gentle’s order” dedicated to the ancient codes of chivalry: protecting the helpless, bringing the unjust to justice and generally making the world a better place. Depending on where you are and who you ask, they are either the greatest heroes in Théah or a gaggle of miscreant noble children butting their noses where they don’t belong.
If any country needs the Knights of the Rose & Cross, it is Eisen. The heroic Knights have seen their ranks in the country decimated by the never-ending waves of Horrors and have kept hope alive in many of the most hard-pressed areas.
After the War, the Knights saw a swelling in the ranks from Eisen veterans looking to dedicate their lives to a higher cause. But when financial support and armed assistance were slow to come to outlying areas from the Knights, many new recruits became jaded and broke off to form a new organization, the Drachenblut.
Relations between the Drachenblut and the Knights of the Rose & Cross remain strained, with the Knights seeing the Drachenblut as an upstart new organization almost sure to flame out, and the Drachenblut seeing the Knights as largely ineffectual.
