Institutional District

On the Eastern side of Freiberg is the Institutional District. It is home to groups, organizations and institutions of Freiburg, like the Freiburg gaol, the town’s newspaper offices for the Freiburger Gazette and the beautiful Drachen Cathedral. This district houses all the administrative offices trying to maintain any order in the city, including the headquarters of the Eisenfürst’s staff led by Wilma Probst. Seekers of knowledge can visit Freiburg University, which boasts the freest exchange of ideas in all of Eisen, where students often explain, “All is welcomed for knowledge’s sake.” Their library is second to none, with a quarterly pamphlet called the Wahrheitspapiere, “The Truth Papers,” circulated with new and often heretical ideas by anonymous contributors printed for all to read. The sizable guild house of the Freiberg chapter of the Explorer's Society can be found in the Institutional District.
