Grundylow

Since the War of the Cross, Grundylow sightings have dramatically increased throughout Eisen. The reason for this is unclear. Some believe that the Grundylows have always been numerous, but people had a harder time believing in them before the rest of the Horrors surfaced.
The legend of Grundylows is one as old as time in Eisen. They are creatures of swamps, marshes, bogs and low water lands. Originally, many thought the creatures old wives tales used to warn the young away from dangerous pools of water. No one can dismiss them any longer, as at least a dozen children and small animals have gone missing to the boney white arms and sunken faces in the last year alone. Legends say they feast on living flesh but prefer the young. No one knows why, since this seems true for animals as well. They are most prominently found in the Salzsumpf swamplands and the ruins they contain.
