Year's Open Eye

Celebrated by the followers of Sight's Rise at the end of the year, where they come together to praise the progress they made towards finding the One Blind Eye.   They celebrate at the largest tower they can travel too, often rushing and taking secret carriages to get to the largest ruins of the last remaining church of the Origin World. They bring artifacts from the past, and handcrafted items made in the old way to appease the One Blind Eye. Food, recipes and stories are past around the celebration, starting and ending with a silent prayer.   The beginning portion is allowed for people to arrive, met and exchange greetings and news to the members that have traveled from afar. The middle portion is seperated by ranks of members, from the preachers, the middlemen and the newcomers   New members that have never attended the event are sent to give their first grand offering to the One Blind Eye. They are given a ribbon to attach to their Sight's Robes, and can proudly display this to their local community, and are raised in rank of Sight's Rise. Each offering after that a new ribbon is given and replaced with the newest, the previous ribbons often sent to be framed on display.   The preachers are updated in secret of the new findings of the sight's researchers. They collect that along with the followers loyalty to decide the best action to approach the year.    Within a month, letters are sent from the different areas to keep all of Sight's Rise preachers updated on all events and situations.
"You can go to enjoy your first year of understanding the True God's purpose for you. I unfortunately get to arrive with the news of the leaving of a prominent family for Sight's Rise; my ribbon may be... I have to plan for a better recruitment if I'm allowed to keep my position."
