The second Slaughter of Krawic

The second slaughter of Krawic is an battle in the Outsider War in the year 1392. The defending country was the Free Isles and the attacking the Donnoian Occupied State of Cohrmas. The battle was held at the City of Krawic between the Krawic Vojslegie and the Second Donnoian Army.
At the time of the battle the Outsider War was already in a stalemate for 64 years. In these years the Donnoian Occupied State of Cohrmas had made them self known with the land. That is why the military command decided to try an attack behind enemy lines. The plan was to send an Army through the thick Borlesda and capture the city Drevourliv. The Second Donnoian Army lead by general Knoff got the order to execute that plan with the addition to avoid a battle with an Islander army.
The army move north to the Borlesda. While moving through the thick forest the army was spotted by an hermit. This hermit send an beast to warn the free Isles. The army had many problems moving through the forest. Because of the difficulty of the terrain the army needed much longer for the journey than planned and the number of casualties were severe. This was due to attacks by multiple big beasts and the wet weather. By the time the army arrived at the city Drevourliv the Kam Army was already there and on the watch for the army. General Knoff decided to move around the city by night, but the army moved a little to late and was spotted at the morning at the village Lespol. In the afternoon the Kam Army started to pursue the Second Donnoian Army. The Kam Army was to slow to close the distance of about half a day and the Second Donnoian Army arrived at Krawic.
With not much time to plan Knoff attacked not at the quarry but at the wall close to the boulder. On the wall were only some visible archers and arbalesters. What he did not know was, that the Krawic Vojslegie had made them self ready to shoot not only from the wall, but also from the Baskam. Additionally they prepared a sortie at the north gate and attack at the west flank of the Donnoian Army. After two hours of preperation the Donnoian Army started their attack as planned on the city. While the army moved closer the sortie-troops moved into postition and the defender on the wall and in the Baskam were ready. The defender on the wall started shooting first. The Donnoian Army rushed for the wall. After half way to it the defender in the Baskam also started shooting and the sortie-troops moved around the Baskam to attack the donnoian flank. With that many arrows flying at the army chaos broke out. Some charged for the wall and some charged for the sortie-troops and some started flee. The formation had fallen and Knoff himself knew that he lost the battle. He ordered a retreat, but the only some listened to that.
After the battle the casualties on the defender side were around 32 and on the attacker side around 498. Half of the Second Donnoian Army was killed in this attack. The rest was stopped by the Vydvemz Riders from the Kam Army and finished of by the army.
After that battle the Free Isles pushed the Donnoian back to the middle of the Pekctorins.
