The Misty Tips are on the rather flat grassland filled Island of Strenkiv. From afar, only faint tips of the mountains stick out of the mist and they look like a mirage. Those which are most visible are very steep, pointy mountains. While moving closer, the full mountain comes from the top into view. Then, to the pointy mountains, smaller table mountains come into view.
Traversing the mountains is a dangerous and time consuming journey. Civilization did not manage to build a paved road through them and the free Isle didn't have the intention of doing so. But if you dare to travel to Nabozanitz by foot, there are some known small trails. These lead through narrow gorges, mountain passes and on tight paths around the pointy mountains. Only a handful of rangers have the courage to scout for new trails and easier ways to traverse the mountains.
In the middle of the Misty Tips is a valley called Tozru which is connected to the sea via the Bunott river. To travel into the Tozru is the Bunott the easiest way. The valley is quite safe from the usually big and dangerous wildlife due to the narrow spots on the trails. In the valley, life is mostly smaller and nimble herbivors and some small carnivores survived the journey through the mountains and settled there. The mountains itself provide a totally different biosphere in comparison to the rest of Cohrmas. This reflects onto the flora and fauna. This unique nature gives Nabozanitz a big trade power and some herbs are worth a fortune.
