Tír na nÓg
It’s said that something wild lurks in the heart of every soul, a space that thrills to the sound of geese calling at night, to the whispering wind through the pines, to the unexpected red of mistletoe on an oak—and it is in this space that Tír na nÓg was created. The gods of this domain sprang from the brook and stream, their might heightened by the strength of the oak and the beauty of the woodlands and open moor.
Tír na nÓg is a realm of everlasting youth, beauty, health, abundance and joy. Its expanse is comprised of meadows and oak groves that extend among hills and woods. A large lake dominates the realm, from which wind many rivers. The fields and forests are rugged but lush, and rolling hills blend into wide plains. The landscape is dotted with obelisks, cairns, and circles of standing stones, from which ancient magic often emanates. There are no large cities, only villages and small settlements, single homes and farms.
Most of the inhabitants of the realm are petitioners who follow the gods sometimes known as the Tuatha Dé Danann. Most are humans and goliaths, with some gnomes, elves, and firbolgs. Giants are also found in the land, though they are not typically native inhabitants. The gate town of Faunel is not far off and visitors from it and the Beastlands beyond are common.
