Clan Zirthund NPCs
Leaders
Speaker ZorvathraxMale Dragonborn. His age shows clearly on the light blue scales of his sharp and angular face. Dark eyes taking in his entire surroundings even when he seems calm and present. Part of his left ear has been sliced off at the tip. The Speaker wears a well-worn, but finely crafted plate-mail armor. At his hip, a sheathed platinum sword with the insignia of Bahamut on the hilt. Strong-willed and militant. Does not like nor tolerate insubordination. Elder Farastri
Female Dragonborn. Her eyes are clouded, though she seems to maintain an acute awareness of those around her at all times. Wears beautiful indigo robes which seem to move like water as she walks slowly and carefully. Speaks softly, letting her words carry their own weight. Seeker Bodran
Male Dragonborn. Leader of the excavation and a rare enchanter among the clan. Spends much of his time studying the relics recovered from the sands beneath the strange ruins of Velqwen. He is the de facto leader of the Seekers. Bodran wears light green robes which have a natural trim of gold when sand sticks to his sleeves and cloak.
Vendors
UlgrathFemale Dragonborn. Mother of Vudrogg. Not particularly fond of change, Ulgrath is quite content to simply continue her work day in and day our crafting the armor and weapons the army wields when necessary. Though soft-spoken, she is a stable presence within the Followers' camp. She is most often seen in her working leathers and thick apron. When not working, she moves through the city in the simple cloth outerwear made for the cold winters. Zorzra
Female Dragonborn. Skilled in the way of healing magic, Zorzra keeps a small infirmary for any in the clan who are unwell or wounded in work or battle. She keeps a small team with her. Zorzra is known to be an outspoken member of the Followers.
Military Members
VudroggMale Dragonborn. Vudrogg wears his emotions on his sleeve and is often eager to please his superiors. Hardworking and quick to speak up, even when it's not entirely his place. Wields a halberd made for him by his mother, Ulgrath. Taught to respect armor from an early age, he hasn't missed a day of polishing since receiving his first set. Stragri
Stragri serves as a tactical advisor when necessary, though he oft keeps his thoughts to himself unless directly asked for input. Standoffish in conversation, Stragri is equally decisive in battle. She fights with both a standard steel sword as well as a crude and rusted orcish blade which killed a dear friend of hers, with which se has sworn to end the lives of as many orcs as possible as retribution. Strongly believes in the Loyalist cause. Rocreth
Male Dragonborn. Military leader of the Clan. Disciplined. Has served as a scout to Avraathe and holds a particular bitterness towards it based on his observations. Sharp jawline and massive muscled frame with an almost animalistic ferocity behind his eyes. Respects and values loyalty and duty above most attributes. Tazvroth
Male Dragonborn. Son of Rocreth. Wants nothing more than to follow in his father's footsteps, but doesn't want to believe all of Avraathe is evil just because of some history stories and doesn't understand why everyone just can't get along. Wears heavy armor that is still too big for him and wields a sword much too large, with his gear constantly clinking and clanking together like cow bells as he moves. Zisilu
Primarily serves as a scout within the army. One of the few members who wears leather armor in place of heavier armor with any regularity. Carries a pair of crossbows with a pair of daggers at her belt. A Loyalist in name, but only because her value of freedom and exploration outweigh her ties to the home she has in Velqwen.
Historic Members
VoronelleFemale Dragonborn. Deceased daughter of Speaker Zorvathrax. Drasthond
Male Dragonborn. In the War of the Black Horde, Drasthond received a vision of Bahamut which directed him to forge a powerful sword wielded by his sister who led the Zirthund army against encroaching forces, saving much of the eastern Nether Region from decimation. Endrana
Female Dragonborn. The Speaker of Clan Zirthund during War of the Black Horde, Endrana wielded the radiant platinum sword crafted by her brother and successfully routed the army of orcs seeking to overtake their camps.
Demography and Population

Territories
Claiming the tent-city of Velqwen as their home amongst mysterious ruins, Clan Zirthund operates and patrols the surrounding area as well.
Religion
Devout followers of Bahamut, Clan Zirthund believes in the natural way of life as the most sacred means of aligning one's self with the desired Righteousness and Enlightened Mercy of the Platinum Dragon. While Avraathe meets in the grand Temple of Bahamut, the Clan Zirthund has simply dedicated their largest tent to a gathering space for those who wish to meditate in a group setting throughout the day.
Foreign Relations
Isolated from the other communities of the Nether Mountains, there are few who know of Clan Zirthund's existence and even fewer who regularly interact with them beyond the monsters in the region who mistake them for easy prey.
Agriculture & Industry
The majority of the population is spread across the occupations of hunting, farming, mining, animal husbandry, and fishing. A smaller portion of the population serves in more specialized roles of crafting and working the raw materials into the necessary tools and goods for the whole clan. Even fewer are tasked with excavating and studying the ruins of the city.
Education
Education for each young member of Clan Zirthund includes basic fighting capabilities, foundational work skills, and the precepts of faith in Bahamut.
