AoA.Lore Parathraaj's Letter to Parathrax
My son,
Beldan told me a letter might reach you in your new home of Durindale. I hope this community suits you and your brother well. I haven't heard any news since our most recent encounter, but perhaps that means only good news came of whatever quest Vorothruun was so hellsbent on.
Nevertheless, I write you to inform you of critical news - the Seventh Prophecy has been announced.
It shall be read to the community two tenday from now. I need not tell you the magnitude of this occasion. With a Season of Mercy kicking off for the first time in over a hundred years, this might be the only chance you have to return to Avraathe as free and welcome citizens.
I know your brother may be hesitant to return - I don't blame him. What is there here for someone such as him? But please, do encourage him to join you on this journey. This opportunity likely won't come again. And life is unpredictable, who is to say when returning to Avraathe may become desirable or necessary in the future?
You should be aware, things are changing here. Prophecies tend to set people on edge as it is, but the long-awaited seventh prophecy? There is both a sense of excitement and dread running through the city streets. Folks are preparing for the possibility of war, another Spellplague, or worse. Even the High Councilors seem distant.
This news aside, Avraathe is not the same city you left. Certainly not since the collapse of Sundabar. Do not expect your previous rank in the Platinum Order to extend any additional graces to you as it once did.
I will share more upon your return, which I hope both you and your brother will carefully consider.
Included is a scroll the Augurium prepared for those returning from outside the city, which should expedite your travels.
Platinum Dragon guide you,
Parathraah Clan Verthisathurgeish
