Ardek Lorens

A half-orc paladin of helm and grand master of the Order of the Mark. He raised Dorn and acted as his spiritual guide and mentor when his father abandoned him to the order at the Last Bastion. Now 60 years old and a veteran of many campaigns in the Thaycreep, Ardek was among the second generation of Knights of the order of the mark. He joined the order at the age of 18, becoming a legate and gaining much renown as a fierce fighter. He became grand master at the age of 45, and led the order at its full strength for nearly 15 years until the war with Sembia and the growing threat of undead in the Thaycreep reduced their numbers.
Ardek granted the Hellraisers 3 companies of knights to venture into the Thaycreep and destroy Szass Tam.
