Helm's Shieldhall
Helm’s Shieldhall is a temple to its namesake deity and a fortress. When the city is at peace, the citizens of Elturel go to the shieldhall to pray to Helm, and the Hellriders train and hold meetings there.
When monsters or war threaten Elturel, the shieldhall is a safe place for the citizens to wait out the fighting. Iconography of a watchful eye on a steel gauntlet is painted on the wall and stitched on banners that hang from the building.
Helm’s Shieldhall is a three-‐story structure and the walls and doors are made of stone. Wall tapestries depict Helm as a warrior in full plate armor standing in the sky guarding staircases made of clouds and looking onto Faerûn below.
