When Narke's drum sounds in Koracia, most of the councilors leave what they have in front of them and head to the gathering place. The meetings then begin with an improvised performance of Narke, where she welcomes the accompanying councillors with songs, poems and sometimes a short dramatized scene. Narke is the champion of artistic expression and regards it the very essence of life.
Narke has dark hair far down her back and paints herself around the eyes with charcoal. Her arms are bare, but otherwise she dresses in black. She is athletic and gives a powerful but beautiful impression. Her gaze is alert, deep and captivating. She is extremely skilled at capturing her audience and people in Ravenland who saw her during her travels, before she took a seat on the Raven’s Council, testify to enchanting performances.
