Koracia

Koracia serves as the headquarters of the Raven Church since the power and persecution of the Rust Brothers increased in Ravenland around 890 AS. Because of the persecution, the site is hidden high up in the tops of giant pines and its buildings are scattered with twigs like raven nests, which makes them difficult to detect from the ground. Only initiated raven sisters know where the place is, and that is a secret they keep until death and beyond. The inhabitants of the village consist only of Raven’s Council, twelve prominent raven sisters who have been appointed to guard Raven’s Shrine, deep among the branches, for life. New members of Raven’s Council are appointed by the current council members as soon as an old one dies. The selection is made among raven sisters who travel or work under cover in villages in the Forbidden Lands.
