Colonial Navy

The Colonial Navies are naval forces raised by subsectors and individual worlds. During peacetime their primary missions are military defense as well as to combat piracy, smuggling and to support customs control. During war the Imperium can place them under the control of the Imperial Navy for offensive and defensive operations, during which time they will be bolstered by regular and mobilized reserve Navy ships.
