During Two Years Later…

Dumb Luck Members

To Aaron’s surprise, he didn’t die at Vicarion’s hand. The pact he had made with a cael still holds up to be in service of others. Now with Reaving as Sidresk’s champion, Aaron is tasked with hunting him down.

Altor went on to found a job-seeking business to help direct others on what to do. Skelk takes on the task as being his personal assistant.

Darwin, saddened by Cardinal Marne’s passing, decided to go into a soft retirement from the adventuring life. He does not take on any immediate ventures and instead preps others into their adventure.

Maedhros goes in to the quiet life with Antharine at his side. It is during one night that Maedhros recalls in a cold sweat that Reaving is still out there. He goes out to rally what Dumb Luck members he can.

Johan left the adventuring life to find redemption from the harm he’s caused. He vowed a Hippocratic Oath as he sought to be a physician in healing others. He was there in the Ridgewater Attack, aiding what wounded he could.

Savvy Strays

The events in Ridgewater made the Savvy Strays realize further that people are still in need of their help. So, they stay with Remus and Welma to coordinate where they are needed most within the Kingdom.

Esterson Hall Members

Aurdur and Uthril continue to be close friends in helping Esterson Hall.

Anthell had a strange vision during the fighting in Ridgewater. Despite being wounded, he heard his former master, Jera, call out to him to never give up. Knowing that she still watches over him, though beyond, Anthell did prevail in the end with the rest of Esterson Hall. In the end, Anthell graduates from his Trial of Proxy. He seeks out to be a parent figure among the other apprentices as Jera was to him.

Elema finds paradise working with Ardentian nobility as their sincerity is something she has craved being from inferiin nobility. With time, she proposes a new province for the Kingdom of Ardentry as there is a city to the south called Tranquil. She now works as a diplomat in hopes of integrating the lone city into the lone Kingdom of Ardentry.

If it weren’t for Aaron, Kastor would have been killed during the Ridgewater attack. It’s this slow increment to his abilities that made him find confidence in himself. Both he and Zalleen would fall for the other, seeking out Darwin for their wedding ceremony.

Icons of Ardentry

Albert Mayhew stays by her Majesty’s side for as long as he can as his age catches up to him. Near the end of the two year time jump, Mr. Mayhew’s health forces his hand into retirement. What makes him content in stepping down is with Amelia’s ability in governance. Now, he is in bed rest as friends and family watch over his final moments.

Amelia Dundragon manages to obtain enough experience to have faith in ruling the Kingdom. She manages to win the confidence of other Ardentians as she makes way in reviving the town of Direson and critical aid to Ridgewater.

Arnsley Dorian, the Inquisitor Captain, takes on a half-inferiin apprentice after seeing him having an Inquisitor’s signature hat. Oddly, he’s heard Aaron leaving it behind while in Dakarran. Regardless, Arnsley trains the boy alongside the roden companion he’s grown to “tolerate.”

Antagonists

Reaving is now Sidresk’s champion. Keen to get started, he wastes no time consolidating power amongst other Maledian followers. Where there is news of a new province, this means news for a new deity in the Cult. He is keen to compete with others for such a powerful position.

Setesk, being Vicarion’s second, goes into hiding now with Reaving being the champion at hand. He would serve at the wight’s side but he fears being purged for being affiliated with Vicarion.

Skralkal loses the confidence among some of his roden pack masters. Hoping to keep his status as a pack lord, he scours amongst his allies to ensure loyalty and forces out any traitors.

Finale Script

(0:03) With matters resolved, Duke Wester showcases a statue dedicated to Esterson Hall’s members. For today, many recognize their heroes for the service of defending Ridgewater. But tomorrow, there will be questions about who they all are.

(0:25) When the time comes, Duke Wester will humbly tell them the story of how their heroes came to be. After all, like many, they come from humble origins.

(0:37) It began here in Ridgewater. There was trouble about an art collector and a Candescent relic that was taken away by thugs. When it was resolved, they heard about the previous group in their hall known as the Savvy Strays. They disbanded after the supposed death of one of their own, believing he had fallen to his death.

(1:01) With determination, they found Emoru unhappy at a carnival, then a guilt-ridden Sen in Glenhill, Bremigan who hid away when people needed him most, and Rosanna who helped the Dumb Luck party from afar in the shadows and alleyways.

(1:24) Esterson’s newcomers even saved a girl kidnapped by nivariin, another who was trapped in the Astral Clocktower, and a luxian that was fading in Rested Isle, and that’s only a few of the many things they’ve done.

(1:49) In the Town of Dusterson they foiled a plot scheming roden were behind, they were invited to a party the Phantom of Kalgarim had crashed but instead of dealing a killing blow, they showed a hurting heart a path to healing for a better life ahead.

(2:10) This is not the end of the great deeds they brought to the Kingdom of Ardentry.

(2:25) But they didn’t do it alone. If it weren’t for Remus Starner and Welma Reedacre bringing them together, they would have kept to their mundane lives. Because of them, great things happened!

(2:44) With Evantil’s return, giving the Strays a home, an old rival made his return. They thwarted the poisoned weapons on goliaths, they were there when Direson fell, and evened the score by bringing down the Big Noggin!

(3:07) And as they made their stand, Vicarion began to make his presence known! But no matter what that vician threw at them, Esterson never backed down from the fight… no matter the cost it took.

(3:30) Together with the Inquisition at their side, the Auxiliary from the Province of Cassius, and help from the stouts of Kalgarim, they brought down the Vician menace and sent Vicarion back to his Bleak master!

(3:51) And rising from the turmoil, they came out triumphant. From humble beginnings, to great heroic acts, they still march on to new horizons as heroes for all Ardentians to aspire becoming!

(4:13) For it could even be you becoming the kingdom’s hero of tomorrow! For new adventures await after all…
