Curse of Strahd Session 5
General Summary
15th of Mid-Ardent 1736
After “socializing” with the master of Ravenloft, Strahd von Zarovich, the party flees the castle swiftly as a raving mad crowd of Barovians stormed his castle. Before the party left, a strange figure named Ezmerelda mentioned that she also opposes Strahd. The party agreed to meet her at Krezk.
On their journey to Vallaki, the party went on to find a windmill. Finral mentioned that he has the deed for it, so they went on to investigate. They discovered the source of the infamous dream pastries are made here by the crotchety Morgantha and her two daughters. The party moved on after being disturbed by their operations.
Arriving at Vallaki, the party went about town and trading with the dull Hans Lansten. Afterwards, the party went to the Blue Water Inn looking to get extra coin. Urwin Martikov took the characters to the back to discuss the matters. The wine has been late so he has tasked the party with investigating what the ordeal could be.
Looking for horses, the party finds the Vistani encampment outside. They found Luvash lashing at a young man for failure to keep a close eye on his now missing daughter. The party agrees to go find her and then head out northward to find where she could be.
