Valvasor
Early Life
Valvasor was born on 29.7.2006 in a settlement called Victorian Secret. This is a town hidden away deep in Wasteland of T@Ö#Ä3. It is so remote and hard to find, that some aren’t even convinced that it really exists. But, regardless of what some might think, Victorian Secret and its residents are very real. The entirety of its population consists of bat people, who tend to be quite eccentric.
And so, young Valvasor grew up here, among the people who posed as ancient vampires and partook in many strange and macabre activities. Growing up, Valvasor never really questioned any of what was going on around him and was taught to him. It was the only life he knew.
But as he got older, he realized that this town isn’t able to survive just on its own. It’s a part of a larger world, and many of the residents of the town would move out, far away to City of T@Ö#Ä3, from where they would supply Victorian Secret with all its residente needed. Valvasor became curious about this big city he was hearing about, and he loved listening to stories older people of his community who have been three would tell. But he felt like hearing stories wasn’t enough to satisfy his curiosity. He decided he wanted to go there and see the city for himself. He wanted to become one those travelers who move out to City of T@Ö#Ä3 to obtain everything that their town may need. His parents, as concerned as they were, knew Victorian Secret needed those thogab bats to supply them with all the goods they needed. They also knew that, if Valvasor was to move to T@Ö#Ä3, he would be living there with the community of other bat people who live the right way, and would protect young Valvasor from the harmful influences of the big city.
Moving to City of T@Ö#Ä3
And so, when Valvasor finished high school, it was time for him to move out to City of T@Ö#Ä3. He lived there in a district full of bat people, just like him. Though this district was similar to Victorian Secret, influences of the technologically advanced T@Ö#Ä3 were more than obvious. Young Valvasor quickly became fascinated by the big city and all it had to offer. Along with the necessities he acquired for his hometown, he would start bringing home various gadgets, clothing, strange foods and magazines talking about the fun life in the city. Others living with him noticed that, and they weren’t happy about it. They were only here to get the necessities for Victorian Secret, and not get involved with the heretical city life. The city life is dominated by drugs, crime, instant gratification of one’s every desire instead of wholesome values such as hard work and reading with family at candlelight. But the longer Valvasor lived in the city, the more he strayed from these values, and more and more he distanced himself from the others of his community. They started considering him a misfit, an outcast of their wholesome community.
But Valvasor didn’t let this bother him. He loved going out, meeting new people and especially admiring the glamorous lifestyle of the local celebrities. Part of the city near the district Valvasor lived in was considered to be the fashion district of T@Ö#Ä3. Raised by his parents, who were quite wealthy, he was raised to particularly appreciate classy clothing and take care of his appearance. It was only natural for Valvasor to gravitate towards the same things here. He spent a lot of his time visiting fashion shows, or this or the other event related to fashion where he might get a chance to meet the models, fashion designers, hair and makeup artists and all the other big names of the fashion industry. Being particularly fascinated by all the advanced technology of the city, he soon took interest in fashion photography.
Big City Life
Slowly drifting away from his old lifestyle and people he knew, Valvasor started spending more and more time in the city. Life here wasn’t easy for him either, however. While the city was welcoming to all sorts of weirdos and freaks, he never felt quite comfortable letting anyone know that he is, in fact, a bat. No matter how hard he tried to hide it, it was obvious he was raised in a different place and a different culture. He didn’t fit in with his old community anymore, but he didn’t feel quite at home in the new one either. That didn’t stop him from trying to insert himself into this new community, and fashion industry in particular. He bought a camera, attended classes, met new people and worked his hardest until he found an older and more experienced fashion photographer, who was willing to mentor him and help him start making a name for himself.
And so, the next few years have passed with Valvasor perfecting his skill, making new friends in the fashion business, climbing the ladder up to find a spot for himself among the most important people of T@Ö#Ä3 fashion scene. By this point, he completely moved away from his old community. He became an outcast and a cautionary tale to all young bat people coming to the city. Too soon any of them could fall into the clutches of the hedonistic and heretical lifestyle the city had to offer. But as if Valvasor’s behavior wasn’t bad enough as it was, he would soon do the unthinkable.
Jane
He spent a lot of time working with young aspiring models, and among these was a pretty young girl named Jane. She recently moved here from a different districts of T@Ö#Ä3, in search of success. Valvasor couldn’t exactly tell what it was that caught his attention, but there was just something about Jane that drew him to her. She was young and pretty, but also ambitious and very smart. She worked with Valvasor for a time, and they started talking and hanging out more and more. Before they knew it, they were in love. Valvasor, who already made a name for himself in the fashion scene, was more than happy to help Jane. He didn’t shy away from showing her off on this or that big event and the young fabulous couple soon became the talk of the town. They were appearing on social media, magazines, tv shows and established themselves as the inseparable power couple everyone envied. They were on top of the world and it seemed nothing could end their happiness. But behind the closed doors, things were less than perfect. As they were dating for a while, Jane wanted more out of the relationship, she wanted a family. Valvasor loved her very much, but he also loved their fabulous carefree lifestyle, and a kid would surely hold them back from living the life they way they did until now. It became clear that they wanted completely different things out of their relationship and life, while Jane was ready to settle down, leave the modeling career behind her to have a kid, Valvasor had no intention to let himself get tied down like this. He hoped he could change Jane’s mind, but then it was suddenly too late. He still remembers the day it all fell apart. Jane invited him on a date with exciting news. She greeted him with a big smile and told him she got pregnant. Maybe she thought Vlvasor would change his mind upon hearing this news and be happy to start a family with her, but that was not the case at all. His heart sank for a moment and he said the only thing he could think of: either Jane was to get rid of the kid, or he’ll dump her. Jane was, understandably, outraged. She screamed at him that this is his son he’s talking about and Valvasor said something about how she’ll ruin her body - oh, who would know. Before long, Jane furiously stormed off and cut all contact with him. He never heard from her again, but he was still able to follow her and their son’s career through news and tabloids.
New Family
Over the next few years, Valvasor started asking himself if he made a mistake letting Jane and their son go, but it was too late now. They move all the way to Ä+*4~, leaving him no way to contact them. But yet, Valvasor started thinking more and more that settling down with someone and starting a family might not be such a bad idea. He knew there was no way he could return back to his old community of bat people to find a partner there, he wasn’t welcome there anymore. So he continued living the life he knew, until he met a new woman. One of the mole people, and like Jane, she didn’t mind him being a bat at all. Valvasor fell in love with her, and made a promise to himself that he won’t screw things up this time. The young couple grew more and more in love each day, until one day they decided to get married. They had a small private wedding, not wanting to attract too much attention - some people didn’t always take kindly to marriages between bats and moles. But they didn’t care, they were in love. And soon, they also started a family of their own. They had an older daughter Christine, and a younger son Thomas. They lived together as a happy family, until recently when Christine went missing, and Thomas left to find her. Who knows how this story will end?
