Temple Ruins
Everyone knows you go to Hell after you die, but how do you get there? Your path will lead you all the way from the spot where you died to continent of T@Ö#Å3, through Haunted Forest to Cliffs of T@Ö#Å3. Here, you’ll find abandoned Temple Ruins with Gates of Hell.
The Temple
What is this temple? How long has it been here? Why is it in ruins? Well, it’s hard to answer all these questions, but there are some things we can assume. One thing that’s clear is that this temple has been here since before the apocalypse. It is speculated that the building was of religious nature even then, but what exactly it was, and what it looked like it’s nearly impossible to determine. Due to its location, it hasn’t even officially been rediscovered by people - not the living ones at least. People who have died and come back know about this place and have told others about it, but nobody living can really go there and research it.
It’s pretty safe to assume this building was ruined during the apocalypse and was left a ruin that we know today. All that’s left of it are some stone walls, a stone altar, and a stone doorway-like arch with a bell - these are the gates that lead into Hell. Supposedly, the bell wasn’t always there, but was added later. It is made of solid gold right from the golden trees, but it’s not sure what it is actually used for. Today the main purpose of these gates it to serves as an entrance to Hell.
Gates of Hell
Of course, not just anyone can just simply waltz into the Gates of Hell, this is why these have to be heavily guarded. Haunted Forest itself serves as a protection from such a thing. Even if you tried to fo in there, there is no way you0d make it out alive on the other side - this way only the dead can reach this area.
But once you’re here, you’re confronted by Guardian of Gates of Hell, who makes a decision on who exactly may or may not enter. She owns a scythe that can tear right through the fabric of reality, and uses it to open the gates and let the dead pass through.
Who is this Guardian?
Guardian of Gates of Hell, or just Guardian for short is a person who guards the Gates of Hell. (duh). She is one of the half-blank characters. Just a person enough to be able to do her job, but not so much to be enslaved by emotions and biased opinions as moles often are. Well, that’s not 100% true. As the Guardian of Gates of Hell, she was one of the first entities to be created by Glitter God and Satan. At the time, they gave her much more freedom and free will as you would see Agents have today. She looks like a woman, but as a half-blank character she doesn’t really have a specified gender, and she doesn’t have a face either. This is why she wears a dark cloak with a hood that covers most of her face.
At first, she was also the one who was tasked to collect all the dead and bring them here, but this plan went wrong quite soon. Aside from the fact that she’s a little bit lazy and just doesn’t feel like going all around the world all the time to collect the dead, this plan wasn’t very realistic to begin with. Her collecting the dead would leave the Gates unguarded for a lot of the time, and while they are protected by Haunted Forest, this didn’t seem like a good idea anyway.
Soon, the Guardian was instructed to stay at the site all the time and guard the Gates. Now she’s there to greet the dead, decide if they may or may not enter hell, and let them in.
