Storage Camps
Storage camps are small settlements located in between different districts. Here is where the caravan families deliver all of the goods from other parts of the world, take a while to stop here, and continue on with the new goods they got here. These camps are used for storing all sorts of goods, but also have a small living area, where all of the employees of this camp live and run the camp. It doesn’t only have warehouses, but also a small settlement of hotels, shops and entertainment for the caravan families who stop here, as well as for the residents of this area.
Where can you find these?
You will find these storage areas right outside of towns. They could be near the roads, railway stations, rivers or at sea. Caravan families travel or across the world and by many different means, from trucks to trains to ships, and need to be able to access these storage camps in any way.
What is here?
First and foremost, here there are a lot of storage buildings, to store all of the goods that get delivered or sent out. Caravan families deliver their goods to storage houses, and the goods from storage houses get delivered into the town. Likewise, all of the goods that the town is exporting get sent to these storage houses, and then taken by caravan families that deliver them to their final destination.
Next, there will be a comfortable hotel area for the travelers to stay in and take a few days off before moving forward. Here you will usually also find other things such as shops, restaurants and bars. These will provide the travelers with all the basic necessities, but they will often go into town as well to enjoy all it has to offer.
There may be some homes here for the people who work here, though they will more likely live in the town.
What is there to do here?
Well, nothing. This is really more or less just a depressing industrial storage building settlement. It’s good enough for caravan families to rest, sleep in a proper bed and eat a proper meal, but if you wanna do and see anything fun, you’ll have to go to town.
You can hang out in bars and restaurants in your hotel area too, you can even meet some new people from other families, and for a few days this is just nice too.
