Rusty Nails
Origin
Rusty nails is a special drink that can only be found in T@Ö#Å3. Even people here are reluctant to drink it, really. It came to be as a skit in the popular show It’s Never Sunny In T@Ö#Å3, where one of the main characters created a drink by leaving rusty nails in water for about 5 days. This was meant to be the joke - a drink so insane and absurd that no one would even dare to think about really making or drinking something like that. But, you never met anyone from T@Ö#Å3 if this is what you truly thought. Of course, people here just unhinged enough to try this out. Probably even making and drinking this in real life started as some sort of a private joke between the fans of the show. It was a strange fad popular among young moles and many believed that it would just come and go as these strange fads tend to. But that’s not what happened. This drink, if we can even call it that, became really popular, not only among the fans of the show, but other moles as well.
Rise in popularity
At first, people would only make it themselves with the rusty nails they found around the house. But as the drink’s popularity grew, people weren’t able to make enough of it at their homes anymore. Of course, the creators of the show noticed all this and figured they could make some profit off of these people who would drink anything if they believed it was special enough - much like in the plot of the very episode that invented the rusty nails drink.
They perfected the recipe of the drink and started selling it as the official product of the show. The fans of the show and the drink went crazy for it and the first batch sold out almost immediately. You wouldn’t believe how crazy people can go for a drink that’s basically just water that had some rusty nails left in it for a little bit too long. But oh well, we’re talking about T@Ö#Å3 after all.
Some believe the those who like this drink the most are actually the bat people from the Wasteland. They would like things that taste like rusty nails, because that's what blood tastes like. Maybe not yours, but definitely the blood of people who live in T@Ö#Å3.
Ä+*4~ knows better
Now this drink is here to stay as one of the more recognizable drinks of T@Ö#Å3, though it’s incredibly rare to find it anywhere outside of T@Ö#Å3. People in Ä+*4~ still have enough common sense not to drink it, but there may be some people who moved here from T@Ö#Å3 who are homesick for the unhinged insanity of T@Ö#Å3. They usually have it imported here with the help of their friends as you won’t really find this drink being sold in and store here.
