Nuts
Nuts are one of the 3 most important staples of mole dies (cereals, seeds & nuts). They aren’t only delicious, but also quite versatile. They can be used to eat as they are, or to be used or made into a variety of ingredients.
Where do they come from?
Nuts come from nut farms that can be found in Fairy Gardens and Å+*4~. Different areas of the world are more appropriate for growing different kinds of nuts - Walnuts and chestnuts are more common in central Å+*4~, while peanuts and cashews are more commonly found in eastern Fairy Gardens. Of course, there are many more nuts, and they can be found in all sorts of different regions across the world.
Majority of peanuts grow on trees, but you do have exceptions like peanuts that actually grow underground. In ancient times some of those nuts and the trees they grow on could be found out in the wild, but after the unfortunate events of our world, they are now exclusively farm grown.
The Nuts
Some of the most common and popular nuts you’ll find in our world are: peanuts, cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds, pecans, macadamia nuts, chestnuts, and more. They are good to eat as a snack, or added to other dishes, like müsli or sandwiches, or be cooked and baked into other foods, like peanut bread or hazelnut cake.
Nut spreads
Peanut butter, cashew mousse, hazelnut butter… Nearly all nuts can be made into some sort of a butter or a cream that can be used as a bread spread, ingredient in baking of cooking, or to be eaten with a spoon straight from the jar. Many come in a smooth or crunchy variety - one with little pieces of nuts in them. They can even be mixed together, like for example almond-hazelnut butter.
Nut oils
Nuts can also be made into a variety of oils. Many of these can be used for cooking and baking, but are often used in cosmetics as well. They shouldn’t really be consumed on their own like this, but surely soon enough Ella will come up with a challenge where she will drink a whole bottle of peanut oil in front of an audience or something.
