City of the Dead

This is one of the wealthier areas in this part of the world, possibly even the wealthiest one. Being right next to Haunted Forest, it attracts the people who are interested in spiritual and otherworldly things, which tend to be Satan’s priests and their families. These people also tend to be the richest ones, so there you go.

People

Life anywhere in T@Ö#Ä3, especially East T@Ö#Ä3 is already pretty weird, but it gets even weirder here. In addition to freaks and moth fairies, this area has the largest population of bat people - allegedly. If they are even actually real, which they’re probably not anyway, but like, if they were they would definitely live here.

Well, regardless of that, people here tend to live lifestyles similar to those of bat people. They’re more interested in everything sinister and death related, and how could they not be, considering they live so close to Haunted Forest. People elsewhere in the world might be skeptical, but to people here, the spirits are just a part of regular daily life - for the most part at least. Though spirits are always present here, most people are still cautious around them. You thought moth fairies can be dangerous and unpredictable? Well these spirits can be even worse. They’re nothing but an unhinged emotional force which results in hauntings for many of those houses. Sure, many move here exactly because of that - they might be aspiring mediums, wishing to communicate with the dead or just think having a haunted house would be cool and edgy. However, many of these people soon realize that having a haunted house is anything but pleasant. The constant anguished wailing of ghosts, turning on TVs, slamming doors and so on might drive one crazy. But, people here need to learn to coexist with the being nonetheless.

Architecture

One interesting thing about this part of the world is its architecture. People here live in large lavish mansions that give off the impression of being somewhat abandoned. Being located right here in East T@Ö#Ä3, next to Haunted Forest and Wasteland, this just seems to be the look of the area, but while many other buildings here just can’t seem to afford a perfect upkeep, people living here could very well afford it, but make their houses look like this intentionally. They seem just as unkempt as many other buildings, but if you look closely, every crack in the wall or a tear in the wallpaper is very strategically placed. The dry dead shrubbery in front of the houses always stays just out of the way from the important paths and the floorboards creak at just the right spots. Everything in these houses is just exactly where it needs to be, to make them look old and abandoned, but yet doesn’t interfere with the cozy and safe lives that people here wish to live.

The buildings here are built of heavy dark stone and adorned with numerous statues and wall carvings of strange and mysterious creatures from our, or even ancient mythology. Stony monsters and demons are sitting perched on fences, guarding their owner’s homes along with tall, spiky iron fences. The statues in gardens are strategically overgrown with dead flowers, and every house that it’s worth something has at least one tall tower with a spiky roof. Even with all the living people here, this still is, most of all, the city of the dead and it definitely looks like it. It’s the last stop in the realm of the living before the literal Hell.

Wealth

As already mentioned, this is one of the, if not THE wealthiest area here. Here you’ll find a lot of Satan’s priests, moth fairies and mediums, who tend to be some of the best paid people of our world. The families here are usually old and big, so called “old money”. This area has the best school and richest culture - due to its proximity to Wasteland, it has the biggest and the best museum of history in the world. Not only that, but the ancient cultures of the ones that are now long gone are still very alive and present here. The theaters still play the plays of ancient people and libraries still hold the old books of ancient times. These and more are the rarities of ancient life that are now only accessible to these select groups of wealthy people.

But don’t get too excited now - while this is the richest area in this part of the world and it has its fair share of valuable rarities in its possession, it still is located in East T@Ö#Ä3. On a global scale it’s not quite as wealthy are many regions in West T@Ö#Ä3, Fairy Gardens and especially Ä+*4~. That’s ok though, because people here don’t tend to value money and material goods as much as they value more spiritual aspects of life.
