Abandoned Greenhouse

Where is it?

Somewhere deep in Fairy Gardens, there is a beautiful and colorful garden full of flowers, trees, butterflies and all sorts of other plants and animals. But if you dare to walk deep enough into this garden, you’ll find a very different garden. A garden full of wilted plants, dead trees and dried out spiky shrubs. And in the middle of this garden, you’ll find an equally abandoned greenhouse.

Tragic love story

This garden and greenhouse may seem abandoned now, but are a big part of the legend that is still well and alive in these parts. As the legend goes, that beautiful floral garden used to be owned by a woman who was the first to bring life into this land. Everything she touched would come to life and blossom, and she could revive every wilted plant. On the other hand though, everything that lives, must eventually die. And the man watching over this dead garden represented this death. Everything he touched would die, and all of the plants the woman would bring to life, he could kill with his touch.

Though so different, as the legend says, the man and woman were also lovers. In a strange way, they complete each other. Everything the woman brings to life, the man would kill, and all the man would kill, the woman would bring back to life, thus continuing the never ending circle of life.

The abandoned greenhouse today

Of course, the story is merely a fictional tale passed down through generations, and even if it wasn't, the man and the woman would be long dead now. Or would they? Many believe that the man and the woman’s spirits still haunt these places, and the man’s spirit is still very present here. People who come here generally report sudden inexplicable feelings of sadness or even existential dread. It’s clear that death is near here, and bringing any plants here will only cause them to wilt away.

It truly is a depressing and strange place, but for many, this makes it that much more appealing. It’s on the list of the most haunted places in our world, and thus one of the popular tourist attractions. Many like to buy flowers in the flower garden, just to see them wilt away here. Don’t worry though, all of the wilted flowers brought back to the flower garden may be brought to life again.
