1.1 The Imperial Landing Barge
The party speaks to Werner 99-40 on the Imperial Landing Barge in Watcher's Grave. Werner explains that a contingent of Calus' soldiers stole four gilded artifacts from the treasure stores of the Leviathan and fled to Nessus. The landing barge is outfitted with four chests bearing symbols of Calus' court: Loyalty, Opulence, Radiance, and War. The barge is not permitted top return without all four chests filled. One artifact has already been recovered, the Opulence artifact. The other three have been located in specific areas.
The landing crew is already in pursuit of a second artifact that was determined to have fallen into the possession of the Vex. The third artifact was jettisoned from the defector's escape vehicle over The Tangle forest to the northwest. The fourth and final artifact is being guarded by the defector Colossus, Bracus Cal'aug and his crew in a cave along the banks of the Cistern.
