Kingdom of Shovolia
Unlike many nations of the interstellar community the Kingdom of Shovolia is a survivor nation born from the ashes of the few hundred million living on Terra Nova. Due to being in the rural Northwestern Islands the Kingdom was able to prepare a response to the Deviants.
Despite the Kingdom's size they have managed to gain land on the Deviants as well as holding out countless Defences against them. The Shovolian Defence Forces while small and probably weak compared to many of the other nations have proven countless times that they're ready to defend the Kingdom at any cost necessary as seen in the 1st Siege of Shovolia in which the Yokai Division was nearly wiped out. As well as the 2nd Siege of Shovolia in which the still recovering Yokai Division managed to hold off the siege with the aid of SolTech Industries
With the Deviant Situation coming to an end and a newly elected Government the fate of Shovolia rests on the Technological Movement of Shovolia's shoulders in which they will have to deal with Terra Nova and the New Frontier of the Procyon System

Structure
The Prime Minister of Shovolia and the Cabinet serve as the Royal Council to the Monarch regularly updating them about their progress and plans. The next level of Government is the Legislative Council made up of the various parties running in the elections. The Legislative Council is tasked with creating the laws of the Kingdom and the opposition of the Council keeping the Government in check.
Notable Noble Houses
The Kingdom of Shovolia is also comprised of noble houses who lend themselves to the running of the Kingdom and/or its longevity and wealth. The Royal Household of Sakurano which is mostly known as being the Monarch of Shovolia with few members of the Household acting as Military Officers or members of the Government. The Aihara Household of Shovolia is a more science based family however recently they have entered into politics and managed to win in the 2132 elections under the Shovolian Technological Movement The Mori Household of Shovolia is another science based family with the Head of the Household, Mori Eisuke serving as the only Minister of Science and Technology for Shovolia. The Kuroki Household of Shovolia is a more merchant based family with the Head of the Household, Kuroki Romi serving as the only Minister of Trade and Business. The Family also has some connections of living in Japan before moving to Terra Nova. The Kozuke Household of Shovolia is one of the strongest families focused on the military. Two members of this family hold the two highest positions in the military, Kozuke Nobuyori as the Chief of Defence Forces of the Shovolian Ground Forces and Kozuke Satoshi as the Grand Admiral of the Royal Shovolian Space Command. Many members of this family are officers of the military as well as a key family serving in the Royal Guard of Shovolia The Kayumi Household of Shovolia is a more politically based family serving as one of the key families in politics. The Head of the Household, Kayumi Chise has served as the first Prime Minister of Shovolia.Public Agenda
From the Throne Speech of 2132 the Government has quite a few things they wish to deal with during their administration. The one thing almost every party was working towards is defeating the Deviants once and for all. In recent years the Nations of Terra Nova and SolTech Industries have concluded after almost two decades of dealing with the Deviants that they should almost be eradicated if the intelligence is right.
With the Procyon system being one of the interests of the Kingdom, the government has made it quite clear they’ll pursue the previous administration’s plans in putting a colony in the system. At first it’ll likely remain a research based colony and slowly turn into a more generalized colony.
Another keypoint that many of the parties were working towards is finally working towards Shovolia rather than it’s military and the Deviants. The Government plans to work towards a prospering homeland and will start with the Kingdom’s capital and slowly work to the other areas of the Kingdom.
Technology for the most part has been steady in the Kingdom but very little research projects were conducted outside of the Deviants so the main goal of this Government was to advance the technology of the Kingdom as well as creating a few of their own.
History
Born from the survivors of the worst natural disaster ever experienced by humanity, a majority of the history of Shovolia is centered on its military victories and defeats. This lead to the tracking of the Shovolian progress being cemented in the military reports from that time. Shovolian history begins with its homeworld's liberation from an enemy that seemed to have no end...
Uzume's Fleet under the Command of Admiral Noya Soetsu conducted multiple bombing runs around the territories of Shakosaki and Takazaki however very few Deviants were found and much lower than intelligence thought there was. The Fleet stays out for an extra year to keep doing bombing runs however results don’t change and the Military Threat is raised as Intelligence points to something being wrong.
On the morning of April 20th the Shovolian Home Guard started receiving multiple reports of gunfire in the outskirts of Shovolia as well as an alarmingly large increase of Deviant reports. Under command of General Kôzuke Nobuyori members of the Shovolian Home Guard and the Yōkai Division are quickly dispatched to the area to help put down the Deviant threat. Most Deviants are killed off by April 20th and 21st and the next three days are spent searching the area for any stragglers. While the defence was a victory it is considered one of the first “defeats” of Shovolia as 8,000 civilians were killed in the attack.
After the attack in 2125 the Shovolian Intelligence Service and the Military Intelligence Corps started keeping an increased attention on the Deviants and were able to find out that a large Deviant force was coming for another attack. The Yōkai Division under Command of General Maeda Ssekien and the Uzume's Fleet under the Command of Admiral Noya Soetsu were ready for the Deviants and prepared their defence. The Deviants charged right into the lines of the infantry while taking major hits from Uzume’s Fleet and major fire from the Yōkai Division. This however doesn’t stop the Deviants and they manage to reach the first line of defence composed of Commandos and Armored Support Battalions. The forces are able to hold them off until reports come in from the back line mostly made up of regular infantry are being attacked by an unknown force later designated as a Deviant G2. The Deviant G2s are able to cloak themselves and become unseen to the naked eye. 11 Infantry Battalions and 3 Armored Support Battalions are lost in the battle but Shovolia gets to live and see another day.
The Yōkai Division and parts of the Home Guard were under the Command of General Maeda Ssekien, the 1st and 3rd Expeditionary Force of SolTech under General Rocan and Uzume’s Fleet under Admiral Noya Soetsu. The Deviant Force in this battle was 5 times bigger than the force in the 1st Siege, because of this sensors and Intelligence wasn’t needed to spot the Deviants as the dust storm above them was a clear enough sign of their approach. Once the Deviants were spotted men all along the lines checked their weapons and the planes lined up for take off. The Shovolians launched 2 Fighter and 2 Bomber squadrons, supported by SolTech forces of 8 Valkyrie Squadrons and 8 Spartan Squadrons. The teams of fighters began to fly in low, dropping ordinance on the mass of mutated bodies headed north. Flames and smoke began to cloud the sky as the pilots began to paint a work of art with their weapons.But as always, the horde breaks through and clashes with the front lines of the defenders. Gunfire opens up, tearing into the mass of mutant bodies as the screams of men being torn apart or slashed begin. The Deviant’s, as always, mix between seemingly wanting to attack and kill and then switching to infecting once the local groups numbers are enough. Possibly a defensive mechanism the virus has in order to continue surviving, or maybe the creatures natural instincts overpowering the virus in that moment of aggression. Regardless, blood is split, both human and Deviant, and it begins to stain the ground red. After 40 minutes, the troops have to fall back to the second line, covering fire from the positioned forces tearing into the enemy. There, troops stack up, and begin unleashing a wave of tungsten rounds towards the Horde. Still they come, smashing into the line and forcing a second fallback 2 hours later to the third line. It's here the defenders hold, culling enough of the horde to finally get a breather. Still, many are still around, separated from the whole. Using Pegasus Dropships, teams of Commandos and SpecOps move around the battlefield picking up wounded and dropping in on small roving packs of Deviants. As the sun starts to rise, 8 hours after the battle began, all that’s left is mop up. Many died this night, but it wasn’t a hopeless fight. Some might even call this a victory, while others would refer to it as a nightmare.
Liberation of Terra Nova (2117-2135~)
Battle of Sedgeview Island June 2118- January 2119
Various Regiments under the Yōkai Division conduct a sea landing on the Island of Sedgeview. Upon arriving at the coastline of the Island forces were able to get a rough estimate of how many Deviants were on the Island and they quickly found out the Shovolian Forces outnumbered the Deviants.Operation Futatabime no Chansu May 2121
Members of the Yōkai Division conducted the last sweep of the Island of Sedgeview and were able to get 8 live Deviants which were brought back to Military Site-1 for research purposes.Battle of Shakosaki Peninsula and Battle of Takazaki 2122-2123
The Two Battles were conducted at the same time and went pretty much the same way for the Yōkai Division. The Division was split in half for two sea landings on the Mainland. The Shovolian Forces are quickly able to take the coastline and they move up with Infantry and Armored Support as well as major air support. The forces are quickly able to push into the mainland and set up a Forward Operation Base in each respective Battle.Operation Fokkusuhōru 2123-2124
