Vishmael Iskandelor, or Vishmael the Great, united the various human city states to a single Empire known as the Kohaarteba Empire. They had great dealings with the Elvan Empire of Yoseikyo and adapted some of their cultural traditions. Though Vishmael Iskandelor was blessed by the Mythwaver and wielded the sword of Galerecen, he developed his own faith and system of belief using what he knew of history, tradition, and life. In his conquest, he was also spreading his own religion, using aspects of his elvan heritage. Most current kings of the Baarish human territories trace their linage back to Vishmael in some way, though only indirectly (through marriages, cousins, distant relation. His last direct descendent died not long after the sword of Galerecen was cast into the sea.
The conquering gained control of various tribes and scattered people across the entirety of what is now the Baarish subcontinent. As part of their conquering, they pulled dragon riders from the Meldran Continent as well as support from the Yoseikyo Empire.
