Kage Elves
The kage elf, also known as the night elves, or dark fey are the result of the corruption of sidhe within the Shadowfell, a realm deep in the court of winter. Corrupted by the endless night, and darkness of this realm, they are look to be in a perpetual state between life and death. They have not faded away completely to undeath, because of their fey immortality, but are not quiet living either. They have dusky gray or pale skin and black or gray hair, typically void of colors that are usually vibrant in the Othersphere. Many of them have dark eyes lacking any sclera or visible pupil. Because of their place in the Shadowfell, many of them are placed there as banishment from Queen Mórrígan's court, and choose to use their position to hunt and slay undead in an attempt to lesson the hoard.

Naming Traditions
Unisex names
Most beings of the Othersphere only have one name and they are the only ones with that name. They consider names to be of great power, not as a means of control, but as a way of becoming a legend without ambiguity as you alone hold that name.
Culture
Common Etiquette rules
The fey's natural nature is to entrap mortals with bargains and deals, or accept anything offered by a mortal, since it opens a pipeline for magic. Anything other than equal exchange can be either enticing or insulting. A mortal, typically, should not accept or offer anything in trade. Additionally a promise or an oath is binding to the fey. They cannot lie (though may speak in riddles and misleading sentences), and they will make sure a mortal does the same when it comes to deals made. A promise thrice made is so close to the absolute truth as a fey can give. Additionally, asking a question three times bines the third answer as absolute truth.
Common Myths and Legends
The Song of Three Sisters is a common story around the Fey.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Kage Elves are of two mindsets. Some prefer appearances that are unusual among their kind, from bright or vibrant colors (such as red), or tan or coppery skin tones. Its unique to them, and reminds them of why they fight, or what they have left behind. Some lean into their affliction, preferring people that truly embodies what it means to be a Kage elf, from the pale death like skin, and features devoid of any coloration.
Gender Ideals
Among the fey, gender is extremly fluid to the point that typical roles do not exist, people simply are as they wish to exist, and titled appropriately. Even Queen Mórrígan has been known to take on the form of a man on occasion. King Cernunotus sometimes takes the form of Badhbh, a female being of black hair, and a black feather cape that becomes a representative of Nauma. It's all a matter of preference in appearance among the fey. They have a very relaxed system of courtship and relationships.
