Intermediate Deities

Intermediate Deities are gods that occasionally interact with high-level patrons and have moderate followings or substantial power.

The Cultivator

A small sprite-like creature is said to be a small god of the forests, particularly around herbal work. According to legend, she built her nest in the winding antlers of Shika. From her tiny house hangs a tiny fruit. Tales say that whether you respect her and Shika or not depends on whether the apple you receive is poison or medicine.

The Keeper

The Keeper is a god of Limbo who watches over all souls that have been judged and are not yet ready for heaven or hell. It is where most undead get pulled from when resurrections occur. Fate and Fortune

Fate and Fortune are conjoined twin sisters knitting the threads of fate and golden luck. They are depicted as knitting fate and time, changing the course of the world, and the "threads' of people's lives. They are depicted as dark faceless and formless women with gold threads through their fingers. These women, according to legend, despise the Mythweaver for his meddling in people's fates.

The Mythweaver

The Mythweaver is sometimes depicted as a beautiful male with shaggy black hair and tattoos covering his body in the imprints of many feathers. He often wears dark clothing and a mysterious appearance. His male form has no name. He has also been known to take on the appearance of a female named Nimuë. As Nimuë, he would act as a maiden encouraging knights to fight in revolutions or encourage commoners to become great heroes. He was cursed by an unknown circle of clerics, some say clerics of Fate and Fortune. 13 Clerics gathered and bound the Mythweaver to the material plane and plunged a sword into his chest. He turned to stone and over time, that sword was infused with the magic of rebellions and revolutions, the power of Mythweaver's fate-changing powers. Vishmael Iskandelor pulled this sword from the chest of the Mythweaver and named it Galerecen. With it, he created the Kohaarteba Empire.
The Mythweaver sometimes takes the form of a crow, collecting new stories, trinkets, and treasures of the places he visits. Where he appears, great stories follow as people often find themselves inspired to rebel against tyranny and trouble. This makes him a suitable god for stories, myths, and inspiration for heroes. However, sometimes these intense ideals and inspiration he gives people lead them to battles they can't win, causing more destruction. Because of this, he is also seen as a trickster god, playing with people's fortunes. Since crows are often tricky as well, it's fitting for him. He is also the patron to transgender individuals, believing to touch them while in the womb, and put the wrong mind in the wrong body as a form of trickery.

The Mason

This dwarven god was believed to be a great being enslaved by the fire giants and forced to work tirelessly. He had the divine spark of Nova which allowed him to have great skill and knowledge in crafting. With this spark, he decided to make himself company and crafted statues of people out of clay. When he wasn't working as a slave to the giants, he was making entire cities populated with different people, each with a unique face. When the fire giants tried to migrate early in the age of creation, The Mason was afraid to leave behind his creation and wept for them. With his tears, he gifted them the same spark of creation that he had, and they came to life. They all defended him and saw him as their creator. The Mason ascended to godhood and is the patron god of dwarves.
