Mega-loguanidae

Mega-loguanidae, commonly known as the “riding tree sloth” or “riding sloth” or “horned sloth” is the main beast of burden for the jungle tribes. This animal can be ridden with a primitive saddle that straps the rider onto the creature with three straps. The straps allow the rider to stay on even while the creature travels through the trees and even upside down. The animal has a smallish head something like a combination of a rhino and am iguana. A large lizard like body with large three toed feet with very large hooked claws allows this animal to traverse trees. The back part of the foot looks like a rhinos foot and the claws can partially retract allowing travel along long stretches of flat ground. An herbivore this creature feeds on grass, leaves and sea grass in shallow waters along archipelago coast lines. The skin in comprised of a scale like skin that is covered in tiny bumps ranging in color from gray to bright green. A pair of small horns on the snout of this animal and seem to have two functions, one is defense and the other seems to have to do with mating. A short thick and powerful tail acts as a balance and steering in the trees and assists in distributing body heat. Measured similar to a horse this animal is between 9 and 13 hands tall. The length of this creature is between 2.4 and 3.2 meters. This creature in a mix of a rhino, iguana and a sloth.
