Iron Cog

Iron Cog – Another village for milling along the river Ranzin. This small village mills both lumber and grain. Its huge iron cog that powers the pair of mills gives this village its name. Great care is taken to protect oil and grease the giant cog. The small lumber mill produces a small amount of fine lumber and also boasts one of the only water wheel powered lathes for turning wood. The grain mill produces flour and will make special flours with nuts ground in them for special orders. Walnut and pecan are the most popular but others are made as well. A number of carpenters are located here and furniture is one of the specialties produced here. The saw mill is also somewhat famous for its saw blade as it is made of mithral and has never needed sharpening in the last century. POP approx. 100
