Grajern

Grajern (iron mine town) – One of the only locations of a worked mine in the country. This city is one of few places to capture slaves and uses them in the mines. The slaves are however not true slaves by definition. Yes they are captured and brought here for labour but they are free to leave when they want. The can move around and do as they wish and even own property and homes and wealth. The thing that keeps them here though is no locals will help them do any of this. They refuse to sell to them and or work with them in any fashion except in the mines. They do get paid for their work but not near as much as as Northmen. Some Northmen are sentenced to hard labour in the mines and they are treated better than the slaves and may still interact in society as normal but no other work can be done.
