Diggers Grime

Diggers Grime – This small village thrives off of the manure of other villages. The inhabitants travel to other small villages and ranches to collect cattle dung to be converted to fertilizer. It’s a dirty job and the stored piles smell very bad. A secondary crop of mushrooms is grown in nearby caves. No inn is here but a small town hall opens in the evening to sell beer, ale and wine to the inhabitants and any travelers. A few silver coins will get a spot on the floor until morning but it’s time to leave when the first breads and hand pies come out of the ovens. With the Iron Oak thicket just to the south west the wild elk and deer wonder through the area often. This does attract predators like dire wolves and the like. POP approx. 40
