Council of Forestry & Logging

The Council of Forestry and Logging is a new guild developed to work with Apple Father to increase the health of the Ranzin Forest outer edges near Cauldron’s Hold and the growth of the Hunters Forest in the center of the valley. The concept here is that for six months out of the year, every other month, trees are planted and not harvested. And the New planted trees have to be planted outside the northern and western borders of the Ranzin Forest near Cauldron‘s Hold. A planting season is also established to help expand the Hunting Forest bringing it to its former glory before the fire clearing for farms centuries ago. Fire clearing is still strictly forbidden as well as camp fires for the lumberjacks. Created by Mayor Cameron Wentworth and brokered and encouraged by the Wardens of the Ranzin Forest this new logging and lumber company will help support the slumping economy in the area. Apple Father’s thoughts on this project are that with the help of a few druid and ranger spell and abilities the new “forest” can be harvested yearly without depleting the forest around the area. Apple Father and Cameron both agree this will take about ten to twenty seasons. The council gets its saplings from Apple Father himself, well delivered by his representative who also sits on the council in his place, a half-elf named Leaf Forester (M druid 4). The budding of a semi-secret society dedicated to protecting the forest and commerce through balance of urban and wild lands.
