About Elves

Elves like dwarves are very rare on this world. They haven't recovered well from the happening many millennia ago. As a result they began breeding with human to bring half elves into the word to ensure the continuation of the elven heritage and culture. The elven birth rate is extremely low. However when mating with human the rate jumps significantly be it elven father or mother. Half elves can and do breed with each other and it does not result in loss of elven blood (i.e. physical features, abilities and general grace or other qualities). While some things do change such as slightly smaller ears yet still pointed, They can grow facial hair unlike full blooded elves. Full blooded elves do not look down on half elves and accept them fully into society and teach them the ways.
