Funerary and Memorial customs

When a Lightfoot dies the body is burned and provided with all the arcane and divine protections available, because all halflings know a corpse is just a potential future monster. Lightfoots are often the trades people of any halfling community and therefore have far less soldier memorials, however most tradespeople are associated with a squadron or battalion and therefore are memorialized with their group plaque.

Beauty Ideals

Lightfoot halflings aren't as focused on feats of strength and find feats of dexterity much more appealing. Lithe bodies, flexibility, speed, balance and quick reflexes are very attractive to a lightfoot.

Gender Ideals

Lightfoot halflings have the same gender ideals as the general halfling population. Halfling gender is all about presentation and nothing else. Halflings change their genders frequently and when they do so all it takes is a costume change.
Braided or tied up hair is considered masculine, and free flowing hair is considered feminine. Warm colours are considered feminine and cool colours are considered masculine.

Courtship Ideals

Similar to the general halfling courting ideal lightfoot halflings seek out partners who would be beneficial in a military capacity. Lightfoots tend towards more finesse based fighting styles and so their courtly sparring often involves fencing and fancy footwork. Some even pick pocket each other to prove their sleight of hand skills.
Some prefer to show off their handiwork via trades and intricate craftsmanship, common choices are embroidery, jewelry making, braiding.

Relationship Ideals

The ideal relationship to a lightfoot is a partner in crime. Someone with whom you can sneak around with. Someone who can easily follow your complicated secret short cuts. A partner who can keep up with you and make any mission all the more exhilarating.
