Halfings reach adulthood at 20 years old.
Ecology and Habitats
Halflings live in an area with open plains and very few forrests, prime hunting grounds. They also have a few settlements along the coasts. They live far south and are accustomed to cold climates.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Halflings eat a lot of meat because they are proficient hunters, not to mention the amount of them that are lycanthropes and have an blood lust to sate.

Naming Traditions
A halfling has a given name, a family name, and possibly a nickname. Family names are often nicknames that stuck so tenaciously they have been passed down through the generations.

Hemlock is the Halfling homeland and empire.
Beauty Ideals
Halflings find signs of strength and martial prowess attractive. Scars, muscles, and bulky bodies are attractive, but mostly its actions they find attractive. Flexing strength through martial training, wining drinking contests, and many other acts of showing off are very attractive to the halfling people.
Gender Ideals
Halfling gender is all about presentation and nothing else. Halflings change their genders frequently and when they do so all it takes is a costume change.
Braided or tied up hair is considered masculine, and free flowing hair is considered feminine. Warm colours are considered feminine and cool colours are considered masculine.

Courtship Ideals
Halflings have an odd courtship ideal. Because Halflings are a very warrior based society they court people they're interested in through sparring against them, and eventually fighting alongside them to prove their worth. This is fine and understood among halflings but causes miscommunication when a halfling tries to court someone not from their culture.
Relationship Ideals
The ideal halfling relationship is a partnership (or occasionally a triad or group) that is perfectly in tune with each other for combat. Your partner needs to be someone you can rely on to have your back and someone you are willing to die for in battle.
Common Dress Code
Halflings believe your nethers and chest should be covered for modesty. Because of how halflings perceive gender in relation to hair styles and colour of clothing this can lead to a lot of confusion when mingling with other cultures. Warm colours are feminine, cool colours are masculine. Free flowing hair is feminine, and tied up or braided hair is masculine. Any mixing of these things tells a halfling you are a mix of feminine and masculine or consider yourself as neither.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
The Halfling people have built their culture around their military purely out of survival. They have only survived this long due to the tactical minds of their leaders and their willingness to use methods others would not. The Halfling people are renown for their blood hunter traditions that frighten other races but it is the edge that allowed these small individuals to hold their own against a hostile world.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
The Halflings have a good relationship with their orc neighbours even though many orcs are unsettled by them. Many halfings are attracted to the orcs large physicality and even the most cynical halfling is charmed by their love of family and friends. Halflings often assume all orcs are these romantic sailors from their smutty literature and view them with rose tinted glasses.
The dragonborn's efficent society is respectable, but their extreme controlling nature is too much for most halflings, and their fearand hatred of magic does not mesh with halfling traditions. Halflings assume all dragonborn are ruled by their fear of magic and are on a holy quest to convert everyone to their philosophy. The halfings have accepted they'll be competing with the dragonborn for land in expansion eventually.
Dwarves are being foolishly precious with their fear of magic, and that maybe they should come down from their high towers and stop looking down on them.
Elves are strange with their long lives and long thoughts, halflings don't have the time for this nonsense. However elvhen magic is powerful and dynamic and very interesting to many a halfling.
The Plane Touched lack discipline and anything the halflings would consider a nation, however their free spirits and inate magic speaks to the wild side of many halflings.
