Gods' Pendant
This artifact is a one-of-a-kind Augurine originally created by an orcish sage from the PE era known only to recorded history as Fahkig.
The pendant is made from animal bone and leather, the prophecy inscribed onto the bone with silvery, early Oumgean runes. Analysis has shown that the runes were once inscribed pretty deeply into the bone, but over thousands of years of wear and tear, the inscription is very shallow and in some places very difficult to discern. Given this difficulty in deciphering the text and that the specific arcana and the specific dialect of Oumgean have largely been lost to time, disagreement over the exact wording of the prophecy among the Propheticists is intense.
The text of the Augurine reads (bracketed sections include the most commonly agreed-upon phrasing, but nearly every element of the text is contentiously debated and these sections most especially so):
In the {time of shade}, as {gods} forsake {us all}, rising from the {corners} of the {land} shall come the {gods-formed}; in {need and needed} shall they {stand} as if upon a {mountain} and {survey} the land beneath, {judging} {it} worthy of light and {returning} victorious.
