Argeda and Jos have been friends since childhood. They resisted taking their relationship to a romantic level for many years but finally decided to take the plunge. However, despite wanting to start a family, they were never able to get their Unioning to work. Argeda wanted to let it go and move on, but Jos couldn't get past their difficulties and began drinking heavily. The rift grew and grew until at last Argeda left Jos after one too many ultimatums.
