Heart of the Empire

The Heart of the Empire was a historical artifact related to the Stalic Empire, held by their Emperors. It appeared to be a large red gemstone. The last emperor to hold it was Indred Stal. After Stal's final death, it was recovered by Ring & Wren, who shattered its casing.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Heart of the Empire would take a certain amount of damage for its wearer before being destroyed. Inside its crystalline shell, the Heart of the Empire contained the Sixth Shard of the Astral Diamond, which gave the wearer a boost to their natural charisma and allowed them to perform extraordinary feats.
