An orphaned child on the streets, the White Spider tried to rob Rynem. Rather than punishing her, he saw her potential and trained her up and she eventually became leader of the Voulan's Chosen. Despite his fostering her, there doesn't seem to be much love lost between the two, though she does seem to feel a debt to him.
