The Seven States of Rollich
The Three Fascinations
Halfling society has fascinations that prevail and unify its citizens, the material, the spiritual, and the magical. While each Halfling is consumed by their own individual hobbies or fascinations, they are usually drawn under one of these three pillars. For example, those favoring the material could be overly zealous in the production of bookbindings, or in smithing powerful blades. Over the centuries, families holding similar interests were drawn together, forming towns and eventually states united under similar goals. In total, there are exactly seven of these states, embodying either a single or a combination of these fascinations.The States are as follows:
- Swallows Grove: Representing the elective capital and central mediating state, swallows grove lies in the very center of the lands of Rollich. Those of sorcerous origins and those who move and flow with their weapons as a part of themselves can be found here.
- Goldencrown: Pillar of Materialism, nestled deep in the mountainous crags of the north, Goldencrown smiths and artisans work away tirelessly to perfect their craft.
- Inkbind: Pillar of Knowledge and magic, and center of the written word, the residents of Inkbind slave tirelessly to record the annals of history and the secrets of the weave itself. Secluding themselves in hidden shires below the rolling hills of the west.
- Redleaf: Pillar of Spiritualism, Redleaf monasteries forbid the use of weapons, intending their disciples and monks to focus on the betterment of oneself and one's body. The state resides on the northern beaches, nestled atop mountains and beautiful cherry trees. They stand strong against the Gnoll threat.
- Azure Marsh: Lying between materialism and magic, the many wonderful swamps of the west hold practitioners of ancient healing arts. Adopting diverse animal companions, they have provided some of the most detailed accounts for biology both humanoid and animal, and have made many advancements in the medical field.
- Verdant Horizon: Lying between magical and spiritual, the ancestors of those living in Verdant Horizon have long gazed upon the stars in wonderment, endlessly searching for answers of what lies beyond. Their search for knowledge has resulted in today's detailed accounts and knowledge of the outer planes. Held in Southern peaks, they rarely crawl out from their homes.
- Honey pot: Lying between material and spiritual, the jovial eastern farmers are of Honeypot lie on the border between Rollich and the sylvan conclave. They take what they need from the land, and cultivate bountiful crops with which they prepare fantastic meals. It is a long-held belief that food is the key to one's self-betterment for the residents, who live long fruitful lives.
Structure
The seven states each send one elected representative to hold council democratically. These roles are usually for life, and the eldest of which holds the greatest respect whenever the council proceeds to vote.

Major Exports
Being home to some of the greatest artisans in the land, Rollich a great deal of exports from their lands in the form of finished and civilian goods. Additionally, they export some of the finest wines and brandies in all of Fehr'gia.
Major Imports
Lacking a great deal of ores and heavy metals, most of the materialist states will import metals including iron, and copper. Inkbind will import leathers and furs, and inks from the River Lily Empire.
