The Reign or Sorrow

Mordegrinn embodies and embraces the uglier concepts of mortal life: the brief moments of loss and despair. She knows that mortals are most vulnerable and reveal their truest selves in times of great stress and pain. But she also knows that those that rise above hardship come out far stronger than they were before. Unlike most demons, she sees her actions as a duty and does not smile or take joy in sowing sorrow. She often shows pity for the poor souls that worship and form contracts with her eminence. Warlocks and worshippers of Mordegrinn are often those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. They may have been the cause, or may have been unable to stop it, and so they feel overwhelming guilt. Contracts with the Queen of Loss allow one to have a few sparing moments with that which was lost. The inevitable end of these contracts often sees their souls being delivered straight to Mordegrinn.

The Living Plane

In a vastly grotesque manner, Mordegrinn has consumed and melded with the energies of her plane, and so has become one with it. She knows all goings on within her realms, a horridly fleshy and organic place. When visiting other planes and realms, she makes use of an avatar that is still spiritually and physically connected to her realms.
