Avani was amongst the first beings. Its origin is unknown, its purpose only to create. Before it sought the plane of earth it shaped the supercontinent of Fehr’gia from the sands, raising it above the depths of the sea. The monolithic titan imposes a terrifying presence to many, yet it is not nearly as garish as it’s exterior would let on. It simply wishes to create, not just for itself but for others. Avani now spends its time creating castles out of mountains, shaping the plane of earth with naught but a thought.
Architect of Atlas, a tale of Avani
When the Asterion Pantheon first rose, the four powers wanted their plane to radiate the eminence that they represented. When they were unable to settle upon who would create their planar temples, the debates became so heated that the mortal realm shook, bringing about terrible storms and devastation.
Avani stepped forward, proposing to create temples so astounding that it would settle the debate at once, and if it did so, the four powers would cease their squabbling. With terms stated, Avani brought up mighty pillars from Inferno below, using them as bases for the perfect ivory sanctuaries it saw in its mind's eye. When the titan was done, the four powers were astonished by their beautiful new home and asked how they could repay it. Avani, however, had already collected. The mortal realm was still, and it left to lumber towards its next project.

Avani wields a mighty artefact that controls the very earth around it. With it the world becomes a canvas for which any artist can masterfully create their perfect vision. Rock can become gold, soot can become marble, crystals can grow and shape to whatever the wielder desires. It seems that the only limit to the Mountain Soul is the wielder’s imagination.

Sculpt, While attuned to this item, you may spend 1 action to move up to 100 sq ft of earthen material up to 100 feet in any direction. As you do so, you may choose any shapes the material molds into. Creatures caught in this moving earth are immediately expunged from the moving rock if there is no room for them.
Abstract,You may choose up to 50 feet of earthen material, and change it into any form of crystal, metal, or rock that you have seen. If the material is not changed back within 1 minute, this change is permanent.
