The Once King
Gallus, Son of Gravita, was the heir to a bountiful kingdom. Eager to create, he immediately set to work on his own perfect race of mortals. The result, unfortunately, proved unwieldy. His people were savage, violent, and impossible to control. In ancient times, his people dominated vast swathes of land; but orcs were brainless killing machines, and infighting broke apart the Orc Empire in a matter of years.
A Storied failure
Not willing to let his failures define him, Gallus set to work on making new races, creating trolls, ogres, and ettins. Each race bore incredible strength, but lacked the brains to succeed. Embarrassed by his own creations, he lives in seclusion, only rarely answering the calls and prayers of mortals.
