United Fate Military Corps

Structure

The UFMC is broken up into multiple seperate branches of service, all of whom have a Primum Generalis (First General) that sit on the UFMC's council and report to the Imperatores in Unitate about their various branches. Each nation still maintains its own military to engage in national defence or war, the UFMC is structured to be independant though will draft military personnel and equipment from nations in time of need.

Across all branches of the UFMC there are a total of:

• 14 Dreadnought Class Cruisers
• 640 Capital Class Cruisers
• 1500 Light Class Cruisers
• Roughly 10,000 Fighter Class Ships
• Roughly 1,250,000 Personnel - This total includes both active combat service personnel, support personnel, officers and analysts

The quantities of firearms, ammunition and armour is unknown, though the rough estimate would be large enough to outfit every combat service personnel with atleast one rifle, a side arm, and 8-12 magazines of munitions.
The total yearly spending for the UFMC across new ships, repairs, ammunition, weapons, fuel, anything, is an estimated 120 billion credits.

History

The UFMC was established just before the start of the 23rd century, as the Humans of Fate established their own nations, the leaders of those nations came to realise that division and multiple forces was the draw back of Earth thinking. The only time the Human's of Earth truely unified to a common cause was the establishment of the Genesis ship and developing colonies on Fate.
A treaty was enacted, all the nations on Fate would be allowed thier own autonomy to govern and rule as they saw fit, but Fate itself would need a military force to defend itself in the event of hostile invasion. The UFMC was that force. To ensure total cooperation between each nation, a coucil was established that would lead the UFMC, with each nation have its own representatives, all of whom were give the title of Imperator in Unitate. This council would vote on all acts performed by the UFMC, whether it be war time strategy, new manufactures for weapons and ships, or when to engage in interplanetery espionage.
