Alucard summoned Mitsuhide using the Atago Hyakuin, a renga written by Mitsuhide & his sympathizers at Mount Atago prior to the Incident of Honnōji. Their contract ended with Mitsuhide beheading Alucard within his hedge maze.
Relationship Reasoning
Alucard blindly believes that he is above everybody & doesn't care about his relationship with Mitsuhide. While Mitsuhide is cold & distant to Alucard, trying to see if he is a man worthy of his blade.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Mitsuhide & Alucard's backgrounds are pretty similar. With both of them being taken in & mentored by a "demon king". However their path differs with their motivations & conclusions being almost opposite. With Alucard becoming jealous of Michael & killing him so he could become more powerful. While Mitsuhide "killed" Nobunaga because of his morals.
History
Both Alucard & Lauren were shunned by the Benevito family for having low magic circuits. Alucard, wanting to rectify this decided to leave with Michael Frost & become a Dead Apostle, vowing to one day come back & rule his family. Lauren disapproved of Alucard's methods & begged him to stay, but Alucard didn't listen. Lauren fearing what would happen to her younger brother joined the Holy Grail War in order to get him to come back to her.

Alucard abandoned his family in search of power, while leaving Lauren by herself.
History
In his search for a catalyst, Alucard stumbles upon a young child named Leonardo. Alucard decides to Leonardo in & raises him, turning him into a Dead Apostle in the process. Eventually Alucard uses his wealth to acquire the Atago Hyakuin & sends Leonardo away with some of his familiars to a house in Hawaii.
