Cursed Tour of the Chocolate Factory Prompt

The city of Choykozov lies in the middle of Ravakain as a part of the kingdom of Osma. The city grew quite prosperous due to its iron mine. A large wall and other fortifications were constructed by Osma's king during the war with the Frost Giants to secure its resources. However, the mine eventually ran dry of resources and as such both sides of the war lost interest. The largely desolate landscape made for a depressing few decades as the large city slowly grew empty.   Seven years ago a man by the name of Viliam "Villy" Vonka, single-handily brought life back into the city. He was a master confectioner, specializing in candies and chocolates. Villy came into town one night and purchased a large plot of abandoned land. With his mysterious workforce, Villy created a small compound of buildings including a massive workshop that featured large circular chimneys as if by magic. Many suspect him to be a sorcerer or have some magical patron because of it. Villy provided many supplementary jobs and grew quite will liked by the town despite hardly interacting directly. He always kept himself and his workshop hidden in secrecy using middle men to interact with anyone outside his compound.   You are part of the the town guard, whether forgotten soldiers who were sent there before the war front moved, guards trained by others before the city started to decline, or adventurers passing through a couple years ago who settled there for longer then intended. You all have noticed that since Villy came to the city a child has gone missing each winter. The first winter was not suspicious as the freezing winters occasionally causes a careless child to go missing, but each winter is unheard of especially with the city being restored. Lena, another human child just vanished and Villy is your prime suspect. He seems to have caught on though as you each received some complimentary chocolate wrapped in a golden slip of paper inviting you to an exclusive tour through his workshop to assure you of his innocence. You might be able to break in later but Lena's life could still be saved. Accepting the invite will be faster and easier. Plus you are the most seasoned of the guards, you all should be able to handle a mere confectioner... right?
