Structure
Priests of Light and Priestesses of Dark:
Only biologically male citizens of Ritheria or one of its colonies can be a Priest, whilst only biologically female citizens may be Priestesses. During the year they seclude themselves inside their separate temples, and may only be seen by the children that come to be trained as Priests/Priestesses. The only days they emerge are the on the solstices, where they meet each other in between their temples and formally recognise the passage from lengthening nights to shrinking ones and vice-versa.
Those in training spend four days a week in the temples, two days walking through the town doing errands and answering questions, and the final day with their families. They become priests/priestesses when the current ones decide they are ready, starting from age twenty.

Public Agenda
This religion honours the gods of the Light and Dark, without whom they do not believe Ritheria would have been created due to their part in the Ritherian Foundation Myth. They seek to serve the gods and receive their good-will.
Assets
Traditionally receive monetary contribution from the monarchs for repairs to the temples, though during the tyrannical Peric rule this was greatly reduced, and so at this time they received smaller contributions from the common people to make up the difference.

Worshipped in Ritheria and all of its colonies, as well as anywhere else where Ritherians have settled - though in these places there is no organised system of worship.
