Priest of Light

Qualifications

Must have undergone training until at least the age of twenty, during which time is spent in the Temple of Light, running errands and visiting family. Are qualified when at least six current Priests agree they are ready.

Requirements

Must be biologically male, above the age of twenty, and trained under other Priests for at least five years.

Duties

During the year remain secluded in the Temple of Light, though none but the trainee students know any of what they do during that time. Biannually, on the day of the Solstice Festival, they come out to meet the Priestesses of Dark in between the two temples and give/receive the stone ornaments of Light and Dark.

Accoutrements & Equipment

On the day of the solstice dress in white robes with their heads/faces on display. The crest of the Temple of Light is embroidered on the back of their robes.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If one of the Priests of Light commit any serious crime they have their tongue cut out and fingers cut off before they are taken away by the Monarch's Guard to prevent the spread of information. Only this or death dismisses them from their duties.
